30 June: foliage improving, unique idea, nice, like foliage color, not sure about seed head, some past prime but still interesting.

15 July: good accent, interesting concept, growth not uniform, leaves turn yellow with age, nice range of color in inflorescences, furry looking, not crazy about flower.

30 July: plumes fade a lot, everyone seems to love it, unique, holds up very well, great accent plant, unique heads, good coverage, adds contrast, not impressed with flowers.

15 Aug: very popular with guests, confused by name, full of blooms, still look very nice, leaves have darkened over time, old flowers look battered, huge dark seed heads, great in landscape.

30 Aug: deadhead, old plumes fade but new ones nice, overtaken, ordinary, nice flower heads, yellowing foliage, declining but still interesting, seed head has texture.
